International Missions

The purpose of POH mission is to create sustainable change to impact the health, education and livelihood of children within impoverished communities around the world

    2012 Mission

    In April of 2012 a POH team partnered with another nonprofit to visit Kinyogori Primary School in Limuru, Kenya.

    2014 Mission

    At Sulmac Primary School, our staple sustainable project was born. In addition to our camp, and classroom renovations, we bought 2 cows!

    2015 Mission

    In our second year at Sulmac, we tasked ourselves to build them the very first playground in the area!

    2016 Mission

    Our last year at Sulmac was the greatest undertaking we had up to that point; deciding to plant a 3.5 acre shamba!

    2017 Mission

    2017 marked our first year at Gitithia Primary School! Where we completed our first medical mission.

    2018 Mission

    Year two at Gitithia, we started another dairy farm.

    2019 Mission

    Our final year at Gitithia focused around building them a kitchen.

    2022 Mission

    After covid restrictions were lifted, four board members went back to Kenya to vet a new school with the Kenya team.

    2023 Mission

    Kanyekini Primary School welcomed us with open arms of sheer gratitude.
